To put it simply, NO PANTZ are four girls having an insanely good time attempting to play instruments. But really, it's about living out a common childhood dream to be punk rockers.

When we won some prize money in 2013 for appropriating a song about chocolate, we promised that it would go into making some kind of recording. Even though most of the cash was spent on food, this triple-single release proves that we are not liars.

Instead, it proves that we are awesome.

How else can you account for four random girls (cue "Forever Young") actually following through with a random Facebook comment thread, making their debut performance at a showcase of Singapore music, being featured in the media multiple times, and having a couple of freebies thrown in along the way? You can’t.

Before we get carried away with praising ourselves, we do admit that our awesomeness is very much reliant on the people we’ve met along the way of our respective journeys. We have definitely felt much love, and of course there have also been haters. We fart in their general direction. Because check it out, we actually wrote our own songs, performed them, recorded them, and released them.

They may not be technically perfect, or even last a month in your music device, but hey, this is here. And we f**king did it.

Grass is thankful for her early midlife crisis, her BFF for finally fulfilling this 15-year-old dream of ours, dear friends and family… and dead dogs.

Lennat is in eternal gratitude to Theresa, Emily, Jennylee and Stella for the constant reminder to always err on the side of beauty and honesty, and for being the catalyst of the formation of NO PANTZ.
