This Valentine's Day, NO PANTZ is stealing the spotlight from the happily-in-love to champion the lonely hearts, with a slew of remixes by dark noir pop duo TOMGIRL, indie electro maven The Analog Girl, renowned DJ/producer Kiat, and fresh face newcomer, Melina K.
“HDB Love Song” is the first single taken off NO PANTZ’s self-titled debut EP released on Christmas Day 2015. Touted by Bandwagon as a band “poised to be an important part of Singapore's burgeoning scene,” NO PANTZ is releasing four remixes of “HDB Love Song,” all re-imagined and remixed with a distinct touch by the respective artists.
Together with a Karaoke version of the title track for inspired gang chant sing-alongs, and a bonus remix of the track “Karate OK!” by Kiat, the five-track remix EP titled NO PANTZ ReMIXED will be available as a free download on February 14 via Bandcamp.
Says the band, “Play the songs loud and remember this: Wild hearts can't be broken. No regrets, just love. It’s gonna be magickal this Valentine’s Day!”

Noise. Danger. Intrigue. Romance. A shroud of mystery surrounds this dark noir pop duo fronted by Cherie Ko and Ted Doré. Inspired by classic film noir thrillers, motorbike ganglands, insidious femme fatales, TOMGIRL is a deadly assault of heavy guitar riffs, pounding drumbeats and fuzzy bass lines; a smouldering aural seductress of tempestuous desires. The world of TOMGIRL may thrive on noir, but it’s the playful juxtaposition of colour that brings a balanced visual aesthetic that captivates.
ABOUT MELINA K
Melina K fronts the alternative rock band The Great White Lark and you may also have seen her YouTube covers where she takes on tunes by Drake, Lorde and Lana Del Rey and make them wholly her own. Like the aesthetic chameleon that she is (she’s been using Rose Quartz and Serenity way before Pantone elects them Color of the Year), Melina is also secretly working on her solo electronic project. ABOUT THE ANALOG GIRL
Named by TIME magazine as one of 5 Music Acts To Watch in 2008, The Analog Girl is fast becoming one of Singapore most prominent acts to rock a different sound that crosses boundaries and takes one beyond the imagination. The Analog Girl's heady mix of dreamy, edgy and futuristic electro music has taken her music to legendary venues as The Knitting Factory in New York City, The Spitz in London, Cirque Electrique in Paris, Soso Art Cafe in Japan, The Esplanade in Singapore and more. There is just no stopping this indie electro pop darling whom critics have fondly called “a young Yoko Ono-meets-Bjork.”
With a belief that creativity knows no format and all creations should have emotions, Kiat has built an extensive portfolio of work in visual art, music and art direction. His many titles include DJ, producer, visual artist, award-winning art director and co-founder of Syndicate. As a pioneer of bass driven music in South East Asia, Kiat has been championing the adventurous side of leftfield electronica for close to two decades. He has shared deck duties with some of the world's biggest names such as Goldie, Flying Lotus and Africa Hitech in both intimate clubs and huge festivals like the Singapore Night Festival and Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Festival in Sete, France.
